This November 11th, the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 12 Kenora invites our community to gather in solemn reflection and heartfelt remembrance for our annual Remembrance Day Service.
Due to ongoing renovations at the Ne-Chee Friendship Centre auditorium, this year’s service will be held at the Jarnel Contracting Pavilion on the Kenora Harbourfront. The ceremony begins at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, and all are welcome to attend.
Though the venue has changed, our purpose remains the same: to honour the courage, sacrifice, and legacy of all who have served Canada in times of war, conflict, and peace.
After the service, we invite everyone back to the Legion Clubroom for refreshments, comradeship, and shared stories. Whether you’re reconnecting with old friends or remembering a Veteran loved one, your presence helps keep their legacy alive.
Let us come together—young and old, families and friends—to honour those who served and ensure their stories live on. Whether you’re sharing a memory, listening quietly, or simply standing in support, your presence matters.
“Remembrance Day is about taking a moment to pause, reflect, and recognize the courage of those who gave so much,” says Jason, President and Poppy/Remembrance Chair of Branch 12. “We gather to reflect, to remember, and to carry their memory forward—together.”
