As another Annual Poppy Campaign and Remembrance Day has come to a close, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the entire Kenora community. Your support, generosity, and presence remind us of the strength of our shared commitment to honoring Canada’s veterans and ensuring their sacrifices are never forgotten.
🌺 Community Support
This year’s Poppy Campaign was once again met with incredible kindness. Every donation, every poppy worn, and every word of encouragement helps us continue our mission of supporting veterans and their families. Your contributions make a real difference, and we are deeply thankful.
🇨🇦 Remembrance Day
On November 11th, we gathered together to pause, reflect, and remember. This year, the ceremony was moved to the Jarnel Contracting Pavilion, a location chosen to better accommodate our community. The turnout was inspiring, with more space allowing families, schools, and organizations to come together in remembrance.
Looking ahead, we are committed to building on this momentum each year. By continuing to expand the event, we hope to welcome even more people to stand with us in honoring those who served and those who continue to serve. Together, we will ensure that remembrance remains a living tradition for generations to come.
🙏 Volunteers and Sponsors
None of this would be possible without our dedicated volunteers. From distributing poppies to organizing the Remembrance Day service, your time and effort ensure these traditions remain meaningful and impactful. We are profoundly grateful for your commitment.
We also extend our sincere thanks to our key sponsors — the City of Kenora, Bestway Rentals and Sales, FSET Inc, and Rogers — whose support was instrumental in making this year’s campaign and ceremony possible. Their partnership reflects the strength of our community and our shared dedication to remembrance.

Together, we continue to uphold the promise: We Will Remember Them.
Thank you, Kenora, for standing with us in remembrance and support.
Respectfully,
